Confident, intelligent and enthusiastic, Kim Serafini is the living embodiment of the term ‘ideas woman’. As the head of the i am gr8ful team there is no doubt that she practices what she preaches, each day inspiring those around her to be better, work harder and give more.

Born in Papua New Guinea and brought up on Brisbane’s North side, Kim graduated from Bond University with a degree in Commerce. She quickly became an in-demand communications consultant to international corporations in the UK and America and worked with the creators of best-selling business tomes.

Kim’s career in the corporate world was a great success, however she realised that continued self-development is imperative to achieve balance in life. Personal development seminars and inspirational books provided mental and emotional stimulation and frequent trips to health spas provided physical relief from stress. Always thinking proactively, it was during these spa sessions that Kim realised that she had many ideas to offer the health and beauty industry and her life took a new direction.

Taking a break from consulting, Kim’s mission was to find the perfect treatment that felt amazing and offered health benefits. Studying personal training and sports therapy to better understand the way the human body functions, Kim hit upon the idea of using stones with massage and shortly after Lithos Therapy was born. Not content to rest on her laurels, Kim also negotiated the Australian distribution rights for Christy Turlington’s Sundari luxury skincare range.

It is her latest project though, that is Kim’s greatest passion. i am gr8ful for life is the first in a series of planned i am gr8ful books and the extended range of i am gr8ful products will include clothing, home wares and gifts. i am gr8ful corporate workshops are also conducted with passion.

With the head office based in the beautiful surrounds of the Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Kim wakes each morning to a view and lifestyle that naturally inspires and is refreshed each time she returns from a business sojourn.
